Katara hosts ‘Spanish art in Doha’ exhibition

The hall 47 in Katara – the Cultural Village is hosting today the ‘Spanish art in Doha’ exhibition.

Featuring 14 artists, the event is organised by Katara in co-operation with Arts & Cultures without Borders association.





Along with 13 Spanish artists, Qatari artist Hessa Kala, a member of the association, is participating.

The exhibition was announced by Katara general manager Dr Khaled bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti, Spanish ambassador Belen Alfaro, Arts & Cultures without Borders association honorary president Princess Patrice, and chairperson Samya Aqbib.
Dr al-Sulaiti expressed his happiness to host the “Spanish Art in Doha” exhibition, stressing that the event reflects the cultural co-operation and exchange between Qatar and Spain which will revive the deep and historical ties between the two countries.

Ambassador Alfaro expressed her gratitude to Katara for hosting the event which represent the strong co-operation between Qatar and Spain, as Spain inherited a rich Islamic legacy.



Qatari artist Hessa Kala expressed her happiness in participating in the exhibition along with 13 Spanish artists as they represent different art schools.
