Kidzania reopens with new establishments for kids to try out!

KidZania is open and its citiZens are returning back to the real city run by kids! Now, isn’t this just the very news you’ve been waiting for as COVID-19 restrictions are slowly and gradually being lifted in Qatar?

This year has gotten off to a great start and KidZania is looking forward to welcoming back kids aged 2 – 14 so they can, once again, think, work, enjoy, and feel all grown up as they run a real city while role-playing a number of fun and educational roles.

Located in the heart of Aspire Park, KidZania Doha is a treat for kids who get to play all kinds of jobs like being a firefighter, doctor, chef, water biologist, pilot, fashion designer, hotelier, radio jockey, artist, secret agent, and so much more!

KidZania’s utmost priority has always been the guests’ health and safety, and more so in light of COVID-19.

KidZania Doha, which is operating with less capacity than normal, ensures that the welfare of the kids, parents, adults, and their staff are always well taken care of. Checking of the EHTERAZ app and body temperature are mandatory upon entering the facility, while social distancing and wearing of face masks are strictly implemented. Sanitation stations are located all around the park and the establishments are disinfected at the beginning and end of each and every activity.

What’s new at KidZania Doha?

KidZania Doha has some exciting news. Since KidZania aims to empower the young generation to be exposed to the jobs that are required in the future, new establishments are now added to let the kids explore a wider horizon and help them realise their dreams in a fun and safe environment.

When kids role-play in a fun, educational environment, they get to learn many different values that include self-reliance, teamwork, honesty, integrity, and giving back to society – all of which will help them become better citiZens.

So, what are these new establishments?

There’s Qatar Rail, Pizza Box, The Cooking Academy, Ghadeer Dairy, North Oil Company, among others, and some of the upcoming establishments include McDonald’s, Nissan, Ministry of Municipality and Environment, Grey, which will be opening soon. Now, kids can try their hand at new roles like petroleum engineer, rail engineer, electrical engineer, among the wide selection of careers that were already at KidZania Doha. Exciting, don’t you think?
