Lebanese-American stand-up comedian NEMR will perform live in Qatar on November 1 at the W Doha Hotel.

Known as “Lebanon’s King of Comedy”, NEMR is the pioneer of stand-up comedy in the region and is hugely popular both inside and outside Lebanon where he has performed across numerous cities in the United States of America in front of huge crowds.

Tickets start from QR150 per person.

NEMR is currently touring his new show, “Love Isn’t the Answer”, where he breaks down global barriers with the power of laughter. The show follows the success of Nemr’s 2016 world tour special, No Bombing in Beirut, which was filmed in both Lebanon and America, showing that laughter can transcend borders.

Commenting on his upcoming performance at the W Doha – which will be in English – NEMR said, “I am so excited to present my new show “Love isn’t the Answer” for the first time in Qatar. I’ve always had an amazing time performing in Doha and each time I’m here the audience come to the show with one purpose- and that’s to laugh. And I guarantee that with my new show, the audience will be laughing for days after!”

NEMR began performing stand-up comedy as a student hosting concerts as a stand-up comedian at his university, the American University of Beirut. He went on to produce the televised show “A Stand-Up Comedy Revolution” and movie releases of two of his comedy specials, “Epic” and “Victorious Secret.” In addition, he has his own show “NEMR in the Afternoon” on the Radio Station Mix FM Lebanon.
