Mahaseel Festival to return to Katara Cultural Village this month

The fifth edition of the Mahaseel Festival is set to return to the Katara Cultural Village this month.

You’ll be able to pick up fresh fruit and veg from local Qatari farms at the souq, which will be held at Katara’s southern area.

The souq will run daily from December 23 until January 2, 2021, and will then be held every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until March 31. You can visit the souq between 9am and 9pm during this time.

Looking for more local fruit and veg? Al Meera Supermarkets has just launched a new initiative, with produce from more than 150 local farms going on sale across all their branches.

Plus. Qatar’s winter vegetable markets opened at the end of October.

You can now grab local foodstuffs at markets in Al Sheehaniyah, Al Mazrouha, Al Wakra, Al Khor-Al Zakhira and Al Shamal every Thursday to Saturday between 7am and 4pm.
