Temporary closure on Salalah Street for two days

  • Doha News

The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) announced that a temporary closure will be implemented on Salalah Street in both directions,

between Oqba bin Nafie Street and the service road of Salwa Road (at Khalid bin Ahmed interchange), from 11pm Wednesday, November 18  until 5am Friday, November 20, and in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.

During this period, Al Furousiya Street and Salah Al-Deen Street can be used as alternative roads, as shown in the attached map.

The temporary closure aims to allow for excavation works for developing the infrastructure for rainwater drainage in the south of Doha.

The Public Works Authority will install directional signs to alert road users of this traffic change. The Authority urges all commuters to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to preserve their safety.
